Chrissy "Powerhouse" Pilley is an ER veterinarian, drummer, sound tech at KRFC, and all-around badass. She picked up her first pair of drum sticks at the age of 11 and has been banging away since then. After marching snare drum through high school and college, she transitioned to drum kit and percussion. She has performed with a variety of music projects during the past decade in Fort Collins, ranging from an all-request duo to a five-piece acoustic Americana band. Over the past year Chrissy has stepped to other side of the microphone, learning how to be a sound technician through KRFC's Live at Lunch radio program. While not immersed in musical things or saving animals, Chrissy likes to get outside and enjoy all that Colorado has to offer.
