DEMENTIA-FRIENDLY BUSINESSES:
Why do we need them?
With our aging population, it seems we all know or will know someone living with the cognitive challenges of dementia. Since more than 20% of our residents in Northern Colorado will be 65 and older within the next 10 years, the future of effective businesses is in providing effective customer service to the 70% of people with dementia who are still living out in our communities. In discovering how can you ensure your business is ready, you will also discover how the strategies shared will help you interact in a positive way personally when an aging neighbor or loved one is living with cognitive challenges as well.
